VISION

Assumpta School of Tagum is a caring and welcoming Christ-centered educational community that has a clear and dynamic Catholic identity in Tagum City.
As an apostolic channel of the evangelical mission of the Daughters of Mary of the Assumption and inspired by the spirit of Louis Joseph Arthur Melanson, AST imbues each child/youth with the values of love, service, excellence and commitment to build a culture of life and respect for the integrity of creation.



MISSION

Assumpta School of Tagum welcomes and values each child as God’s beloved endowed with different intellectual, physical, social and spiritual potentials and needs.

In partnership with parents, faculty, staff, civic and Catholic institutions of Tagum City, AST provides:

 A relevant curriculum that equips the child with necessary competencies, skills and attitudes
 Learning opportunities which motivate them to excellence in what they do as life-long learners
 Environment conducive to the full development of the child’s/youth’s mind, body and spirit
 Community outreach to develop awareness and social responsibility.

O my God in union with our Lord, Jesus Christ,
offering Himself in the Holy Mass
And through the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day.
In reparation for the sins of the world, for my special intention
and for the intention of the Holy Father,
I wish to gain all the indulgences attached to my prayers
and good works for this day.
